  1. Climate charts above are part on my Vietnam Travel Map. Contact me, Truong Hoang Phuong for updated map, of course, updated charts.

  2. Planning a trip from 14th September to 28th September; starting in Hanoi & working our way south to Ho Chi Minh. Wanting to explore Hanoi, trek to Sapa for 2 nights, Halong bay, Hoi An & Mekong Delta. We also have the option to move the holiday either 2 weeks backward or 2 weeks forward. What would you recommend us to do given the mildest weather in all locations?

    1. With only 14 days you are limited to what you can see. Normally I recommend the Central Highlands and Dalat, however, in this case here is your best option. Sapa is extremely touristy but has beautiful surroundings. You can also look at My Chau as an alternative that takes less time. 2 Nights in SAPA will actually take you 4 nights as you have to take night train there and back, Overnight in Sapa will also take you 2 nights. So…….
1 night Hanoi, 4 nights Sapa, 1 night Hanoi 1 night Ha Long Bay, 1 night Hanoi (8 nights) Fly to Danang and transfer to Hue 2 nights, 2 nights Hoi An, Back to Danang and fly to Saigon (shame you miss Nha Trang and Dalat) and spend your remaining time there. Expect afternoon showers in Hanoi and Saigon.
