Nha Trang ocean front hotel pictures

Beach front Area1 The only hotel in this area with western rules and standards

Nha Trang has a very large beach and ocean front area. There used to be a lot of beach front rooms to be had, but over the past number of years, many of the smaller French Colonial buildings have been torn down to make way for new super hotels. There are 2 beaches in Nha Trang that have beachfront hotels. One being the Bai Duong, and the other the Nha Trang beach. In the north part of the city, the oceanside street is called Pham Van Dong. The street name changes as it crosses the river to the downtown area to Tran Phu.

On this page, I have included a photo of all the hotels along these roads. Click on a picture and you can view them in closer detail.

Area1: I will start on Pham Van Dong street and move southwards.  Area1 offers a truley unique experience. It is in a Vietnamese area with very limited English services. There are no agressive sales people and a very friendly environment. The best seafood restaurants are located in this area.

Area2 covers from the downtown area to the end of the backpacker area,  It s the closest to downtown shopping and the commercial district. Some of the finest western and European restaraunts along with busy nightlife can be found in the backpack area.

Area3 starts beyond the Backpack area for about 1.5 kilometers. This area can be very congested and noisy but offers some lower cost accomodation. Most tourists in these hotels are Vietnamese from Saigon and Hanoi.

  1. Hi Owen,

I note with interest that you suggest the best seafood restaurants are in Area 1. My mum and I both LOVE seafood. Could you suggest a restaurant for us please?

    Many thanks.

  2. Hi,

I”m trying to plan a trip over there. Do you have a webesite dedicated for you hotel for booking and such?

    Thanks,

    Tan

      1. Hi Owen,
I will be in Vietnam from Dec. 24 to Jan 11 and planning to visit Nha Trang at the later part of my trip. If your hotel are closing on Jan 20, will the quality of stay be affected?

Please email me as I have some more questions.

        Thanks!

        Hugh

I will be in Nha trang from september 15,2012 on for at least 2 weeks, do you have any room available for 4 adults?
Also, would you recommend any scuba diving group that can get me ready for the activity scuba diving while I am there.
    Thanks for your response.
