More about NhaTrang

A sun goddess

First let’s start with the beaches in and around NhaTrang. NhaTrang beach runs for miles. The sand is soft and fine. Some of the local businesses have set up loungers and large umbrellas that you can rent and spend some relaxing hours enjoying the ocean. Just down the beach not too far away you will find all kinds of water sports form Sea Doo rentals to parasailing and kayaking. You can have a relaxing massage right on the beach and make purchases from the many vendors that travel back and forth looking for customers. The water is pleasant and there are workers that do their best to keep the area clean. There is a second beach to the north just a few kilometers That is

smaller and the drop off is more gradual making for warmer waters and more gentle waves. There are no loungers or water sports at the moment making it a great place to enjoy the natural state of a beautiful beach. Only a towel and swim suit required there.

Some of the best restaurants you will even experience in Vietnam are located in NhaTrang. Just one or two blocks from the Main beach area, you will find many foreign restaurants that serve food of surprisingly good quality. I am not exaggerating when I say that one of the best steaks you could ever have is right here in NhaTrang… and that is saying a lot as I am from Alberta where the beef is supposed to be among the best in the world. You can find everything from Pizza and Italian, Russian, German, Mexican, North American, European, French, and of course, Vietnamese. Up in the northern beach you will find some of the finest seafood restaurants in all of Vietnam, and at a price that will have you grinning.

NhaTrang also boasts a lot of nightlife. Up in the northern beach area, the evening rocks with local Vietnamese and some tourists. There are coffee clubs and Disco clubs, some which offer live music. The Vietnamese people dress up in their most appealing attire to attend and it is like watching a sea of beautiful. The main tourist area has night spots, local watering holes and loud banging discos that can keep the partier entertained until the wee hours.

Motorcycle and bicycle rentals are everywhere so getting around is a snap. There is also a bus system that is very frequent and can get you anywhere. Taxi’s also are very convenient. There are tour offices everywhere and most hotels can arrange any trips you are interested in, and there are a lot of them. There are also a lot of historic sights and amusements. The following may be copied from other sites and modified a bit by me

Things to see and do in NhaTrang are:

The local Buddhists of Nha Trang occupied this place for prayers and worshipping, and there are many incense lighted giving the place an interesting aroma.
